Pastor Stocker was born in 1954, to a staunch German Catholic family in West Texas.  While in the Army he was saved and upon returning was a police officer then to Pensacola Bible Institute where he met and married his wife, Betty. His first pastorate was in Whitney, TX, then moved to Amarillo and started Bible Believers Baptist in 1982.

I was led to the Lord May of  1982 by Pastor Stocker at the YMCA Chapel. I have been with Pastor Stocker for the whole time with the exception of three years in which I went to Bible School at PBI where I received my Bachelors of Divinity.  Since then the Lord has blessed Julie and I with 3 children whom are married to spouses that love and are serving the Lord and have given us 6 grand children.  Candy's husband Josh Morgan pastors Faith Baptist Church in Thayer Arkansas, David & Mellisa are in charge of Youth Ministry here BBBC, and  Samuel and Phylis Pastwa, who were recently married, are getting involved here at BBBC.

Alan Arvello joined the Bible Believers Baptist Church in 1989 and became Music Ministries director in May of 1997.    He is a native of Texas, and was saved in 1976.  Aside from serving at Bible Believers Baptist Church as Music Ministries Director, Alan works full time as a physician assistant for a local medical team.  Alan married his wife Julie in 1990 and they have 3 sons Aaron, Bryan, and Nathan.

David first came to Bible Believers Baptist Church at the age of 9. He accepted the Lord as his Saviour three years before, at a church down the road. Once he got in he wanted God to use him even at a young age. His family moved away when he was 13 and somehow God found a way to bring him back. He was married to Melissa in 2000, both of them bus kids! Before they  were married God pulled at their hearts to help kids make it through.He became the youth director in 2001. He has four kids, 2boys Caleb, and Matthew, and 2 girls Mariah, and Ann.

Chris Cochran joined the Bible Believers Baptist Church in 1989 and became Trustee  in May of 1997.    He is a native Texan, and was saved in 1976.  Aside from serving at Bible Believers Baptist Church as a Trustee, Brother Chris works full time as a Rail Road Engineer for Southern Pacific Rail Road.  Chris has a wife Christie a daughter Hannah and two sons Jacob & Ben.

Mandy Cochran

Mandy wife of Jason Cochran is a native Texan and grew up in Bible Believers Baptist Church. She was saved in March of 1986 and later joined the church in 1996.  She met her husband in church and they were married in May 1998.  They have 3 children Joseph,Noah, and Chloe.  Jason and Mandy also help with the children's church as well as teach Sunday School.

Jana Dibala and husband Dan Dibala work together with Bible Believer's Bookstore. Dan and Jana have one son, Jan. Dan and Jana joined Bible Believers Baptist Church in the summer of 2006.  Jana accepted the LORD JESUS as her personal Savior at the age of 16 years old.
